PreSeason: (August - October)

Preseason practices are designed to help wrestlers work back into wrestling shape while preparing for the upcoming folkstyle wrestling season. These practices will also help with knocking the rust off of old technique as well as learning new technique to add to your wrestling. With preseason practices,  wrestlers will develop the necessary skills it will take to not only be successful but they will be ready to compete at a very high level!

Folkstyle Season:  (November - February)

Folkstyle Season is when the real fun starts, Competition! Competing in various tournaments throughout the season is highly recommended and encouraged by Coach Lofton. A huge part of learning and really growing in the sport of wrestling is not just training hard, but also competing and getting the experience of real live wrestling matches.

Practices during the Folkstyle season will be designed to help each wrestler continue to improve their wrestling skills, while at the same time, helping others prepare to compete at a high level.

Freestyle/Greco Season:  (March - June)

Freestyle/Greco Season is probably by far the most exciting season in the sport of wrestling. During FS/GR practices, Coach Lofton will teach various Olympic style positions and techniques for both Freestyle and Greco. One of the biggest advantages of wrestling in FS/GR season is that it will drastically improve your wrestling skills for the next folkstyle season. If your goal is to become a state/national champion or high level wrestler, then wrestling in Freestyle/Greco season is a must!
