The LSW National Team is a team constructed by CoachMeL of a bunch of hard working, dedicated, consistent wrestlers who are committed to training the right way and competing at a very high level.
This team will consist of approximately 20-25 wrestlers to form one team, who will be picked from a two hour “tryout” wrestling practice. I will pick 10-15 High School kids AND 5-10 Middle/Elementary School kids. Wrestlers will be put through various drills, live wrestling situations, and extensive conditioning exercises. This cycle will repeat every 2 months in order to give all wrestlers an equal opportunity to make and wrestle for The LSW National Team.
Being apart of the LSW National Team will provide opportunities for wrestlers to get more mat time, train with other clubs, compete at various local/national tournaments, and possibly become noticed by some college coaches for any HS wrestlers who chooses and would like a chance to wrestle at the college level.
